Molesey vs Sandhurst

Not too much to say about this game other than it was a very one sided affair. Molesey had the game wrapped up at half time after 3 first half unanswered goals. Sandhurst were very limited and rarely offered any chances of getting themselves back into the game
Pretty much from start to finish Molesey were on top. They took the lead after 21 minutes courtesy of a cracking shot from Arnold Tawonezvi and never looked back. Sandhurst were a defensive shambles and conceded again on 29 minutes after Molesey seemed to just walk the ball through the weak Sandhurst defence after a good passing move. The hole in side netting was exposed again as the ball went in. Just before half time Molesey killed off the game after a strong Sandhurst penalty appeal was turned down and Molesey raced up the other end to make it 3-0, Nick White with his second of the game from about 30 yards out.

The second half wasn’t really a great spectacle. Molesey made a few changes at half-time to rest players for their Surrey Senior Cup tie against Sutton United. There were a few chances but none were taken and even if both teams, or just one of them took their half-chance or two that came along, I still doubt the result would have been different. Molesey saw out the game with ease and won the game comfortably
